Does anyone know of the quality of LPs and CDs from the Musical Heritage Society. How do they compare with other labels such as EMI or D. Grammophone?

I've bought a few of their LPs second hand, and I've been very happy with the quality. I think the original owners tended to have lots of these around, so no one album got a lot of play. They tend to be older recordings--good quality analog stuff.

Does anyone have an opinion of the quality of compact discs produced by the Musical Heritage Society?

I have quite a number of MHS LPs from the 70s and all are quite good. I got a blurb a couple of years ago saying that they were back with CDs, but I didn't respond to it. I also would be interested to know if anyone has any experience with the CDs.

The few MHS CDs I've purchased - all used - have been just fine, and indistinguishable from other CDs.
