Well it could well have been a beautiful Pea Green boat Squire, Olive Drab's not seemingly in at present! After just having a slight internal conflict with mesen regarding my plans for this evening, I thought Fuck It Fritz! (as one does) you're still on holiday for another two days Son. So having gone mega-shopping some 4 times over the last few days, stocking up big-style with everything basic under the sun, as well as 'all' bills being paid up front with no overdraught still, I just went out and spent 50% of my last dosh on kebabs and two 6 packs of Beck's for this evening rather than going to the boozer and inevitably smoking and getting wrecked till 06:00hrs (no money required pay next month). Coincidentally enough I recently re-read some old Dalziel & Pascoe books as late night reading and lo and behold last Sunday & tonight for the first time ever they're on the telly tonight too. 22:00hrs start is usually far too late for me, but tomorrow I can crash, as well as watching the statutary Sunday night thriller (always finishes at 21:45hrs for those lucky enough to have a job, and with no commercial breaks either) that's the Germans for yer, work hard and play hard (though not to get).
