Whot Speakers

Posted by: Haddock on 20 March 2002

I'm looking for a new pair of speakers, my old Sugdens need a rest and will soon be sent to a farm in the country.

I listen to all sorts and I have <£900 to spend. Does anyone have any recomendations for things I should dem to hang off my 72/140.

cheers,
Nick

Thanks for your replies......

I used to have an old audiolab 8000a that I listened to some Ruark Prelude IIs and some AVI 9's on.

The AVI's were great but lacking a bit in bass, the Ruarks had plenty of controlled bass (which is important to me). Does anybody out there have any experience of these with Naims?

cheers,

Nick

TC wades in with a recommendation for Neat Petites, which come within your budget, and which are the best speaker he's yet heard this side of £2000...
