I notice that one of the UK Sunday newspapers is advertising a free CD. A message on-screen says that some of the tracks will only play four times.
Anyone know what technology they're using for this?

FWIW the print ads only say (something like) 'some content only available to PC users, min Win98'.

I have this.
Only 3 of 7 tracks paybale on audio CD.
To listen to the remaining 4, you have to be on the interent to play them, so I suspect some dark force will place cookies on your PC, ot otherwise infect it in the registry.
Besides which, who needs to hear all 7 tracks - they will all some the same anyway.
