Space Laws/ So Sorry.

Just heard that private companies are not covered by Space Law and as long as they get out there can do what they like. "I spy" from the satellites is in full swing and the next step is to mine the asteroids. Brave New World

Does that mean that if I bank by the internet, my account is "off planet" and not available for UK tax inspectors? I presume that some bank could make the main database live in a satellite and co-ordinated by staff all over the world, to make it officially "off planet".
