Divine Comedy

Due to my CD player in the car being busted and having to listen to the radio while a replacement is ordered, I heard The Divine Comedy (unfortunately). Obviously instantly recognisable, but is this really supposed to be funny? I just couldn't imagine being able to listen to it let alone enjoy the "joke". Pretentious crap IMO.

I disliked the earlier stuff (a bit Flanders and Swan at times) but Regeneration is actually a serious (and rather good) album IMHO.
