The Worst Bruce Springsteen song ever?

Ouch... I listened to the album last night and thought there were worse songs on it than "QOTS".
Overall I would have to say that it is an average album with average songs and suffers from Brendan O'Brien's horrible production. Definitely not one of his finer moments, but then neither was 'Magic'.

If that's the case I would say it represents an improvement for Bruce!

Springsteen is incomparable live. Just saw him last year for the tenth time over 22 years and he still rocks! His albums of late are a bit weak compared to vintage material.

Yeah i've seen him over twenty times (13 on the River tour alone) and he is amazing. He is still apparently the biz though I don't bother these days too much other stuff to see.

The Wrestler and Last Carnival are pretty good. Its a pity the 'Jersey Devil' song didn't make it onto the album though.
He's actually had some great albums post 1984 -Tunnel of Love (87) & The Ghost of Tom Joad (95) are two of my favourites
Chillkram - his first six albums are far from average. I'd rather listen to him than Jeff Beck anyday

Yes, that was kind of my point, that everyone has their own taste.

Tunnel of Love is a great break up album. Tom Joad is also quality

Not a huge Springsteen fan but Nebraska is decent. Heard he played all the instruments on this album as well...

I agree. I did say that average represents an improvement!

In all seriousness I am not a Springsteen fan but some of his earlier work is not too bad. It all went wrong in the eighties I think.
