Now my LP12 died

There must be something in the air!

Anyway, I took the baseboard off, and had a prod inside, and it seems that the on-board fuse has blown - in fact, it's blown the metal end-cap off!

I realise that the fuse is likely a symptom, not the cause, but I'd like to check it before trekking to my dealer.

So, can anyone tell what the spec of the fuse so that I can replace it with the correct one? It doesn't seem to be listed on the deck (that I can see) or in the manual.

Cheers,

If the mains fuse has blowen I would be 99.999% sure the board has a fault. Take it to someone who knows how to fix then. They are straight forward to repair.

Thanks Andy.

Chris,

Yep, it is the board. It's one of those things, on the one hand, it's extremely unlikely to be just a blown fuse, on the other, it's easy enough to check if you know what the fuse is.

It wasn't just the fuse, tho', so it is now in the hands of someone who knows what they're doing. If I'm lucky, I may get the board back tomorrow.
