He seems to divide opinion Tony but I am a huge fan. The Albert always seems to bring out the best in him too.

Me too. I haven't seen him there since around '94. I might take a trip.

It was Chris. I've seen him twice at the Hall - the first time was in '89 but I was way up the top and the sound was awful. '94 was much better, but I would really love to have seen The Cream there when they reformed a few years back. Sadly I couldn't get tickets.
I have also seen him at NEC.
Regards
Mark

We were lucky enough to have front row seats for the Thursday night of the Cream reunion (05/05/05). We even make a brief guest appearance on the dvd, as "Stormy Monday" and "Toad" were taken from the Thursday show. It was a privilege to be there (yes, Howard, even at those prices!!).

All I will say is if he can be 3x + better than Porcupine Tree then so be it. At his stage in his career he should be doing gigs for less not more. Not only EC BTW.

Ah yes, the recession...
Actually it is the racket of the ticket industry at which you ought to vent your spleen Howard. The prices for EC tickets on Ticketmaster are a bloody scandal. Do you suppose he sees that money? I doubt it. When PT or any other band have the same draw as EC then the spivs and scalpers will do the same for them.

I agree, the scalpers seem to be the retail outlets though. Coupled with the "service" charge "booking fee" what's that all about? Postage I understand. No if I feel the need I'll buy some of his records. I'm not a great fan but this will not encourage me to go and see him.

I have been a fan since the Yardbirds! Rachel is buying the tickets as a birthday gift for me so I am being spoiled really!
