Not many people seem to play or mention 10CC - probably unfashionable, but some guys who could write fantastic songs, create superb vocal collages and could really play - what more could want and at their very best they produced Sheet Music.
Every bit as good as the post-Barrett Floyd IMHO, but nowhere near the recognition. Perhaps, 10CC are considered a bit too Art for Art's Sake, but the is probably why I like them. The songs don't root from some long suffered pain or reflect gritty urban life, they are much better than that. They paint fantastic pictures that do not come from experience, but a desire to make original and exciting music with a twist or two and this is why I think they succeed.
Anybody else like them and not ashamed to admit it.
