Legal free downloads.

Just found some sites that offer legal free downloads. See what you think.
Italian neo-folk/martial music.

Great sampler albums that actually have some pretty big names in the genre like Spiritual Front, Varunna, Bain Wolfkind (out of Der Blutharsch,) Forresta Di Ferro, Graumhad (also out of Der Blutharsch) and Naevus. Has a sublime classical sample on one of the albums. Trouble is it’s a download so I find it difficult to keep track of which is which.
Dark ambient

Available as a free download or you can buy the CD for £3.99. I liked the music (pretty good but not the best) but liked the principal more so I downloaded the CD and then decided to support them by buying the hard copy.
Praxis label.

No, not the Bill Laswell praxis label but the hard trance/speed electro/gabba label. They’ve decided to start re-releasing their back catalogue as free downloads. A lot of it hasn’t stood the test of time but some of it still sounds surprisingly fresh. This stuff was pretty rare in the first place so if you don’t try it here you’ll probably never hear it. It’s free and it’s legal so how can you lose?
