I have got today, luckily for a very cheap price: Megatop Phonix, Tightnen up Vol88 and No.10 Upper St.

In fairness I have played two tracks off one album so more listneing required.

but common this is serious 80s sound.

I was really hoping it wouldn't be.

Garyi

you any closer to that LP12 yet?

Yeah IIRC there's a few decent tracks on B.A.D. but emphasis on few. frown

Nick, most things grow on you if you listen enough. With BAD its not worth it. Gary's right they're horribly 80s dated. Listen to the Clash or Dreadzone instead.

Humm, forced myself through three sides, Nick your suggestion is indeed the better one, but only the lesser evil in my eyes.

Never mind we live and learn.

If anyone is interested all three available on vinyl in very very good condition.

For those interested, I understand that CD 2 of the recent "Best of" is being pressed up as a double 10" pack.

Obviously, you don't get the little film that comes on CD2 - well unless somebody has invented vinyl to video interface.

I remember now - Peter Shelley - XL1 had a final track which you had to tape, then feed into a ZX Spectrum, and run the program at the same time you played the vinyl - viola, visuals to accompany the music. Never seemed to sync up through.

Were there any other examples of this Vinyl - video interfacing?

no it never synched properly but was probably too ambitious for the Spectrum anyway - b*****r I've just admitted to having owned a ZX Spectrum AND bothering to tape the software off the record and trying it eek

Must admit though, I was reminded of this by the new Buzzkunst CD which has a couple of live videos on the end - not watched them yet though (do I need to play them on a PC or can I use the DVD player/TV ?).

Was Pete Shelley ahead of his time?

p.s. David Slater - are you an Old Azurian?
