Barry White died at the weekend at the age of 58. I was amazed to work out that at the time of his peak (1972-73) he was in his late 20's. At the time he seemed to be positively middle-aged. Mind you - back then anyone over 20 seemed to me to be middle-aged to me!
Whatever you thought of his music - it had its place, as everything does.
