FAST SPEAKERS AND FAST CARS

Using the word fast for speakers has a certain meaning
you are familiar with as a forum member. Take IBL speakers
for being fast.

Fast cars are something slightly different. Take fast for
acceleration, then you know what I mean comparing speakers
with cars.

SBL speakers accelerate to a very high top speed in that point
of view. I guess many other speakers do also.

You can get performance out of a car in two ways: intelligent
lightweight construction or a certain amount of horsepower.
Its easy to go the horse power way as Porsche shows with the
911. Many other cars are superfast at top speed. To get per-
formance out of a car the brains way is a very rare experience.
I know only one car with brains: the Lotus Elise.

Both cars are amazing to drive. The 911 makes you sweat. But the
Elise makes you smile.

The IBLs make me smile too...
