Back again!

Well, two weeks after moving in, BT finally have our broadband on. The good news is that we've gone from 1.5 mbps to somewhere around 6 to 9 mbps. Which is nice.
Oh, and a minor point.... the naim sounds soooo much better on a solid, carpeted floor after nine years on a 400 year old wooden suspended floor!
And it's so, so quiet here after being 1 mile from Stansted airport and a few hundred yards from the M11.
Oh, and my new job is going swimmingly. Less money, more self-respect, interesting work.
I should have bought a lotto ticket for tonight's Euromillions!!

One nice touch with the new job is that we finish at 12 on Fridays. That means I have the chance to play something LOUD when I get home. 
I'm still missing the rumbling floor at the moment, but that naim sound I first had in our Saudi villa is back. I just need to acclimatise myself!
