Preparing files for USB stick for DAC

I understand that the DAC will only read WAV files from a USB stick.

What is the preferred application to convert FLAC, MP3, AAC, etc to WAV for this purpose when using a Mac?

Any lossless or uncompressed format will be fine, not mp3.
