Banned music.

Probably a Padded cell music item.
It might while away a few minutes and even encourage a smile, on this less than fine Monday.
I love some of the justification for the bans and some of reasons why they shouldn't have been.
Banned music, BBC and others. Not new but I came across it looking for something else.

great memories
I am shocked by the extent of the bans when you see them all listed like that. I guess we all knew they had the black list but - wow - I had no idea that some of those were on the list.
Thank goodness for the pirates or we would have missed the French anatomical lessons

Did you hear that Baden Powell's "Scouting for Boys" is banded as it might encourage George Michael

Judge Dread made a very good living out of all his singles being banned.

Rockingdoc,
Who actually was Ivor Biggun?
Best Regards,
Mark Dunn

I was told once he was that guy 'Doc Cox' off BBC's 'That's Life'. Dunno if that's true but the voice has an uncanny resemblence if it isn't him.
It would also be ironic that he worked for the BBC and his record got banned.
Regards,
Steve.

A fried of mine had the Ivor Biggun record which he used to delight in playing... he told me a couple of months ago that he once met the person who recorded it (I took no notice of the name). Making conversation, my friend said "I have a copy of that record", and the other person said "I've got a garage full..."
