Has anyone heard the new CDS3 yet?
I am in the process of buying the CDX2 and wonder whether it is worth waiting for the new CDS3?

I had heard that the new CDS3 was going to cost in the region of £4,700.
Does your cost quoted include the cost of the XPS2?

I expect the CDS3 to be on par with the 552 and 500=unobtainable

I would guess yes, but don't know for sure. My dealer has told me however, that the XPS2 is an upgrade for the CDS2, which may be a cheaper way to go.

We are finishing the CDS 3 in time for the Bristol Show (Feb 21-23) but have not confirmed the price yet. The prices that have so far been quoted are approximates. We would estimate that CDS 3 will come in around 10%ish higher than a CDS 2.The price quote in Music at Home (Audio-T & Audio Excellence brochure) was a guesstimate.
The old XPS will work with the new CDS 3.
