South Africa can never lose (or draw), only ever be cheated out of winning

I am very sorry that in recent weeks South Africans have only fuelled the national stereotype that they can never lose (or draw), but only ever be cheated out of winning.

We had it with rugby, Leicester vs Springboks in November when SA had to make every excuse under the sun for losing; and Leicester vs Saracens last week, for which South African coach Brenden Venter has been cited for his diatribe about biased referees. And now with cricket, SA accusations about alleged ball tampering.

Saffas, grow up, stop having toddler tantrums, and accept that sometimes you get beaten (or drawn).

I suggest the England cricket team are very careful what they eat before the last Test Match. The caterers cannot be trusted you know (allegedly).

Your are stereotyping South Africans by British standards.
South Africans (& even worse than the SA's) Australians & Kiwi's have just the opposite opinions of Britain, they see us as obsessed with fair play and knowing how to loose with that "stereotypical British" stiff upper lip.

South Africans - I hate appear racist but shall we just say - the Rugby & Cricket school, work hard & play hard - the Boer Oke, Voortrekker (pioneer) way of life, the apartheid issues, the years of getting on with life while out in the political cold, has resulted in a country with an attitude where all achievements are something to be proud of. They are damn good, you only need to see the school, club & province level rugby to understand that is true. But they do not know how to loose like us plucky brits.

Sorry to be ever so slightly biased - its my second home Cool

Mike I agree whole-heartedly with all your comments.

But mine picks up your last 'they do not know how to lose like us plucky Brits'. And it is their self-stereotyping to which I allude!

They are whingeing on aren't they.

Then again England were definitely tampering with the ball whatever Flowers says.

How does the saying go? "Show me a good loser & I'll show you a loser". About time us brits became poor losers IMO.
