Shock's The Word

Hello fellow Naim devotees
Haven't been around a while.
Possibly very old news for some of you fortunate enough to have auditioned (and now own) the 500 beast in the comfort of your own homes or good showrooms, I received the late chance to hear one at a friend's place yesterday(52/SC/CDSI/CDPS/passive SBLs).
Just to get the audition off my chest, I am still in utter awe and amazement.
It doesn't sound, to quote Naim in their modest appraisal of their new reference amplifier, "at the very least - as good as our existing reference, the NAP 135".
More like it eats them for breakfast, brunch, lunch, tea, dinner and supper.
Very good listening to all.
The music's still groovin'.
