nasg - naim audio short guide

Posted by: tzk on 21 May 2001

i've created neat naim-site. i've tried to add some new informations rather copying them from other naim sites, or at least provide nice visual form (product histories). there is also chance to see some vintage naim boxes.

please give me feedback, how do you like it. if you have personal comments use the email address on the webpage.

but at a quick glance it appears your power outputs for the power amps are a little ambitious. Check the figures on the main Naim site.
I wish my 140 was as powerful as a 250 is !

all power ratings are @ 4ohms and follows name (naim? smile) conventions for all NAPs, for example: 140=70+70

Tzk,

The best bit is that you've provided a comprehensive set of photos on the old style kit. This will be useful, as not so long ago someone wanted to know what a NAC32.5 looked like.

Yours truely couldn't find a picture on the Internet and had to write a short essay about its physical description.

Check out the inside of the bolt together 250, looks totally different to a later one.

Cool site.

Tony.

PS Thanks for the link. I will certainly return the gesture when I eventually rewrite mine.

Very nice site!
Especially the foto-gallery with
the pictures of those good ol' days Naim amps.

Finally!

Keep up the good work.

I'm proud of gallery part of my page. It very hard to find old-style Naim units pictures on Internet. I always was curious how those units looks like - so I finally found a way to catch them (even a NAC12!) - it took me few months to collect those pictures.

Thanks for your feedback.

Stay tuned. More updates soon.

PS. If you have some ideas just drop me an email <naim_audio at yahoo.com> If you want to present your Naim System you can send me photo with description.

One suggestion - put a caption against the pictures scatterd around the site - e.g. the NAC72 on the 'Links' page.

Good site, though!

cheers, Martin

I have been waiting for Naim themselves to do something like this.

The gallery was very well done indeed.

Loved the internal shots.

I will send you some pics of my system soon.

Thanks again and well done!

On the gallery or links page - anybody else get this? The page opens without errors but is just a nice shade of grey with nothing on it. Have tried it on several occasions the last few days, same result.

I get the overview and history pages fine but the gallery and links page just come up blank.

I couldn't see anything using Navigator but it worked fine with Internet Explorer.

I have no idea why.
