RHCP Stadium Arcadium

I am a fan.

I cannot deny.

Fan up to a point where you defend your idol while being aware that not everything's golden.

However, Stadium Arcadium has (and it is a double cd/28 tracks) some great takes. There's some really excellent playing from guitarist frusciante.

I guess old time rhcp-warriors will tell you they've (rhcp) gone soft. Maybe, but Flea is still a terrific bassplayer.

Well, I like it.

Thorsten,

I'm a fan also and am still waiting to hear it though. I just have this nagging doubt that after such good work, it's going to be ego-rock and I'll hate it. After all, double releases smacks of 70's excess. I do hope I'm wrong.

I agree about the musicianship. I'm still trying to master the Higher Ground baseline. I hope Flea has toned it down a bit.

I hate to say it, but Anthony Kiedis is the luckiest man in Rock 'n' Roll. Making all that money and he's a singer who can't sing.
