My Mum made these

These are dolls shoes that my Mother made recently. That is a box of matches in the photo for scale.
At the moment she is making a miniature pair of DC skateboarding shoes about the same size as these - all for an exhibition of Jan McClean porcelain dolls. She has also made tiny Victorian high-heeled lace-up boots with about twenty tiny eyelets.
All done traditionally, with a last for each pair based on the porcelain doll's foot. She toured footwear factories years ago to learn shomaking methods and then miniaturised the process.
