Where do you guys buy your vinyl albums?
Do you stick to one supplier, or shop around?

Now the Freak Emporium is closed I use the Rock Box - mostly through Amazon market place, but I must go there (Camberley - not far from that place with the arrows) - could be very expensive though.

Rock Box - excellent service.
Stu - I must do that. I used to go to Camberley a lot when I worked with Sun (the computer company, not Elvis's old label), but unfortunately I don't do that anymore - since the formation of Gates's dark empire and the coming of the oracle.
Aapye! - did your elpees come from Rock Box or Freak Emporium? I'm guessing RB - great service, but I miss FE's stunning catalogue.

Sorry, p'raps should've been clearer, I was wondering more about purchases of new vinyl.
I notice that Amazon have new vinyl, for instance, but is their storage, packaging and general care up to the standards of, say, Diverse Vinyl, bearing in mind Amazon is free delivery and DV charge.

Amazon vinyl packing is excellent and also if there was a problem, returning to amazon is easy and no fuss.

After 2 copies of Chris Rea's Return Of The Famous Hofner Brothers, both vinyl part of this box set had flaws, and warps.
Is it Amazon"s storage/handling or the supplier's ? Packaging was fine BTW.

Amazon seemed quite surprised, they wouldn't send out a 3rd copy, saying "it must be a bad batch from our supplier" for what that is worth.
I will be asking them if they have any feedback from this though.
Cheap? just under 50% of original issue price isn't that cheap or unusual, I would have thought.
Good value for money (if it was any good, physically that is).

Hi Gothmeister
I've used HMV, Amazon, Systemrecords, Diverse Vinyl, What Record, ClassicLPs and Rhino. Packaging has been good from all of these and I haven't really had any problems although some delivery quicker (& sometimes cheaper) than others.
Hope this helps.

I need to contact Amazon(not an easy task) to determine if they have had a new delivery, seems pointless to keep ordering another from the same batch.
Both sets have been returned and credit received.
