DEar All,
I wouldnt bother coming this weekend due to severe storms rain flooding etc etc.
I was hoping to go out west beyond the blue mountains this weekend, but listening to the news this evening with visibility on some roads measured in metres, accidents and road closures i will probably not do this.
I have friendS here for a few days and they are wondering what is wrong as it is supposed to be summer here and it is pissing down with rain just like England.
Still the reservoirs are filing up along with thousands of poor bastards homes. Second time in a few weeks that some poor souls have been flooded out and they have not even done the repairs to their houses from the last storms.
Now when i read about the ausssie climate i do not remeMber anyone mentioning the weather we have here.
As an aside a great aussie singer Sara Storer wrote one of her albums about the floods on her family farm. When the album was released northern NSW was in a fierce drought, and now after issuing her latest album the family farm is flooded again. The album Beautiful Circle is gorgeous and welL worth acquiring.
I am listening to Jack Johnson's new album Sleep Through The Static as i type this and it is a very good listen.
