Best in car TAPE player

Anybody got any views on what is the best new* OR second hand tape player you can get for a car.

I just had my Alpine TDA 7588 stolen!!

*I don't think there are many TOP END tape players made any more.

Becker and Nakamichi have been considered - but need to know what models to avoid.

I use Becker Mexico 2000. It sounds better than any in-car cd / tape player that I have heard and it works flawlessly for 20 years but I doubt if it can be found in the used market.

Best tape unit is to try to find one of the rare Nakamichi units.
