Anyone know if there are different generations of 4 DIN-XLRs? If there are, how can you tell? And how big a difference do newer ones make?

I wouldn't have thought so,apart from the latching/locking din's depending on vintage.
Is made from standard main's cable.

The only other difference that I am aware of is that older 135 leads have all three wires connected (they are both the same as a 250 lead), but newer ones only have two wires connected (and therefore come in matched Left & Right pairs).
My old leads have been snipped internally so they are single-channel-only.
cheers, Martin
