Is there such a thing as too much PRaT?

Hi all. I am a Naim neophyte, and have only just dangled my toes in the Naim pool so far. I am considering a CD 3.5 as a replacement for my Rega Planet, to match up with my Nait 3 (Chord interconnect, NACA5). My concern is this:
Can "the Naim sound" in some cases be too much of a good thing?
Personally, I don't want choral works to "boogie". I don't want Debussy solo piano to make me want to get up and dance. I do enjoy those qualities on a lot of music, which is why I bought the Nait in the first place.
The Nait3/CD3.5 combination has been much lauded/criticized for doing what it apparently was designed to do - communicate music in a very visceral if not-so-subtle way. I'm not sure if I should be thinking of adding more PRaT, or taming the PRaT I already have.
All opinions appreciated.
