New Vinyl

I recently purchased a TT and would like opinions on the re-issues. I have noticed alot of Dylan, Miles Davis and many other artists being re-issued on vinyl. Are they worth the price of admission or should I look for the older pressings? What re-issues are worth the money and which ones should I stay away from.
