After reading all the historical threads I still found two subs (Hsu and Spendor) difficult to integrate and I gave up. However, I did run into one specific (and possibly unique) problem with Naim and subs which was solved by a suggestion from the factory: if your candidate sub has only one input rather than two channels, then you cannot simply join the two channels from the DIN4 to 2 RCA connector (from a psu) together, for example with a "Y" connector. You need to have at least a 4K ohm load on each channel. A friend's Marantz amp had no such problem
