Has anyone got their album, I have bought the mecury awards CD and they are on there and I like.

Whats the rest of the album like?

I don't know which track is on the Mercury Music Prize album, but I have the Goldfrapp album and like it a lot. The album is pretty consistent, though the first track to me is the standout (the one that was used in a long TV ad recently, possibly for BT or One 2 One - I can't remember). Its definitely worth a purchase anyway, and it should have been out long enough by now to be found for a reasonable price.

Cheers Tony, I think the one I like is off the ad as well, starts with whilstling.

I will check it out.

If you like a bit of Groove Armarda, their latest is will worth a few quid, a bit of an over blown bass recording but some nice tunes towards the end.

I love the Goldfrapp album... love it. Saw her live a couple months ago, and she was amazing. All those strange high-pitched sounds that seem like processed guitar or synth are actually her vocals. It was a shock to hear those sounds come out of her mouth (of course, they're processed, but still).
