Lead Direction
Posted by: garyi on 15 August 2001
Ok I have a 92/90 and a flat cap. Which direction should the connecting leads be the leads are NA 40 & NA 46 the names of the leads are at one end of the lead, if someone could tell me therefore where the 'named end' goes that would be great.
That is of course providing they are directional.

Thanks for the direction but now which way do things need to be directed between the flat cap, preamp and power?

Naim dealer makes for me all the needed adjustments and this is one of the ggod things in Naim. You don't have to bother about anything.
So I guess someone from Naim should answer you for this question.

Ifb I'nm not wrong, due to problems of earthing, the signal goes from the pre to the power supply and then to the power amp.
So Lobo's scheme is correct and clear.
You can e-mail Naim with any question even if you didn't buy the equipment fron them.
You can find that they are helpfull and very polite and patient so don't fear to use them for any question- I'm sure you'll recieve a quick and deatailed answer.

Hi Garyi
Go to the Naim Homepage. Click on Products then Owners Manuals.....then take your pick on which you want to download.
If you don't have Acrobat Reader you can download that as well.
Hope this helps.
