Sarah Palin - A True (AIP) Republican

Obama reckons the press should keep out of the candidates' families' lives. I tend to agree. I feel for the daughter of Palin - that her pregnancy is an international news story is somehow quite wrong.

I tend to also agree particularly with children. I would imagine Palin would have understood that would happen and they would sift thought the minutia of her life before she agreed to go for potential VP.

She's ok with basking in her son's patriotism, but when it comes to her daughter's behavior, it's hands-off.

She shouldn't get to have it both ways - if children are off limits, she should adhere to that if she expects anyone else to do likewise.

I feel that John McCain et al were, apparently, fully aware of her daughter's pregnency before choosing her as a running mate. I believe that they saw this as a possible bonus that could help their cause at best or be a non issue at worst. We shall see.

Who would have thought that the Dems would have made the "sensible" choice in VP?

If being governor of Alaska counts as "executive experience" the way the Republicans are claiming, I suppose that means the Mayor of Fort Worth, Texas is even more qualified than Palin (and McCain, Obama, and Biden for that matter).
