The stockmarket agrees, the stock went down after the announcement.

It went down during the announcement, then up when they announced the price and finished up by about 1 percent. Apparently Apple stock usually falls when new products are announced so I gather this is quite an optimistic reception.

should run the iLinx app for Naimnet as well as the HDX and forthcoming Uniti apps well, but without flash it won't run the HDX UI in the browser. Hate flash but certainly it must be there if this is to be the "ultimate surfing device".

well someday when I have a DAC the iPad will be great as a server. That way I don't have to use the tiny symbols on my iPhone to control a mini.

re Stock price - usual thing is to sell on good news - ie the price has temporarily peaked.

I tried to get tickets to Peewee's playhouse stage production for the next week, way too expensive. Would been fun at $50 but it's almost double that. Wonder if he'll have an iPad?
