Main website problem at moment?

Posted by: Steeve on 20 April 2010

That is, is there one? Can get on the forum from my favourites, but clicking on the Naim Audio Main Website link from here brings up the wrong site!
And just typing www.naimaudio.com gives the following message:

Forum back up and running.

Except the NAIM logo and shopping basket icon in the header don't show up now. (Firefox/MAC) They show up OK on Safari though????

Main site looks good.

Runs a little slow at times, but I'm sure that will get better. Otherwise nice.

Not on my Safari, at present....

I guess the new server is still populating (though why this wasn't done off-line, I'll never know, but I guess that's another discussion...)

"Please note that the new site has been experiencing some slowed service levels as it is currently sitting on an interim server, before it moves to its own server."

Now you know.

Forum access with Safari is ok.
Only the loading time from some pages is slow.

Yeah, have seen that very email from Alison earlier today....I'm still none the wiser though as to why this wasn't done off-line....

I can't see any difference apart from the fact that I can now receive PMs
Posted on: 21 April 2010 by SC
PMs ? Can you...? Can't see that, yet...

Two Macs, same OS, side by side. One accesses the forum on Safari and the other does not. Clearing the cache (twice) cleared the problem.

Strange!

I imagine lots of members are having difficulty connecting to the website.

I can't get in via the usual naim-audio.com route. I just happened to find a link on Google that linked straight into the Forum.

Even from the Forum page, I can't connect to the main web pages

Any idea when "normal service" will be reumed?

Cheers

Don

... seems the patient is still not stable. Frown

There's still a fair bit of fine tuning being done. Currently the main website is on a temporary server, hence it runs a bit slow, made worse with high traffic volume.
