Picked up "Words Came Back To Me" at Starbucks this am and it quickly has become my favorite purchase of 2006, so far.
All songs by Sonya. Instrumentation varies, to include acoustic guitars, piano, Hammond B-3, cello, mandolin, and bass and drums. Great vocals throughout.
The style is eclectic, reminding me at times of artists such as Fiona Apple, Mindy Smith, Norah Jones and Ricki Lee Jones (not as "adventurous" as RLJ but often has that jazz/pop feel of RL and Norah).
Excellent arrangements and production.
