Not so much to look forward to here, being a QPR supporter. Survival will be an achievement this season, I think.
Still, pessimism for my own team's fortunes aside, I'm looking forward to watching some great football in the premiership.

Steve McClaren officially started his job as England manager. Great. At least the media are behind him - knife in hand.
Fat Frank has his book out "Totally Frank" but with a few half-truths thrown in for good measure. The section on his world cup exploits has been cut down to one paragraph on a removable page.
Jose M says Liverpool are shite.
John Terry wants to be the next captain of the England team.
Steven Gerrard should be the next captain of the England team.
It'll be great watching Chelsea win the Premiership again. And again. And again...
Fergie thinks he can wrestle the title away from Jose M. Again.

I certainly hope Villa have a good season, once the 'takeover' and managerial issues are sorted...

Fisbey, I think Doug has done well by the club, however, the time has come to give it up. I'm not sure who would be better owners, however, I hope Martin O'Neil comes with them.

I'll be there - I'm the one singing 3-0 to the Tractor Boys - hmmm well maybe not. Still it has got to be better than last year. Tough first match against the Palace though. Still we're joint top at the moment.

A Bluenose telling us Villa faithful that we are rock bottom, well, where does that leave them.
Fisbey, lets leave rackkit and his ever envious crew to 'enjoy' their season as best they can. We, meanwhile, can look forward with anticipation and renewed enthusiasm.
