rotf,
beats me, never heard of him ! dont know whats going on with noble either - id like to see him in the team myself but then its not up to me.
all managers seem to have their favourites.
noble doesnt seem to be one of curbishleys.
ipswich should make an offer-i reckon noble would rather play every week rather than in the reserves or warming hes arse on the bench!!

Some great memories RTOF ..I remember that Final well ...myself and my fellow mackems (tanked up on numerous cans of Export ale + Skol Lager!) jumped up as one off the couch when Osbourne scored .....
Of course I was actually present at Wembley in 73' for THAT game ....we never liked Leeds even then ..a feud that goes back to the early 60's when various Sunderland players had their legs snapped by Norman Hunter! ....If I'd known then that that win would have been our last major trophy ......
....I'd have still been a lifelong SMB!
(ask any NUFC fan for a translation!)

Jet,
I also jumped out of my chair after the Osbourne goal, Arsenal are to me as Toon are to you!
And I remember the '73 Cup Final well. Montgomery's performance was one of the best I have ever seen from a keeper, along with Jan Tomaszewski for Poland against England in the same year.
Magic memories (apart from England failing to qualify for the world cup in Sir Alf's last game!)

so were out of the cup,
we created so many chances to win 3 games which has been the story all season - weve got start to take them.
no more excuses as full attention is now on just survival in the premiership!!
COME ON YOU IRONS!

Scotty - I nearly had a trip to Upton Park to look forward to, but now I've got to go to Vicarage Road. You will survive in the premiership - you've just got to keep on believing.
All the best, Rotf

I know how you feel mate, Rangers lost again to Barnsley, the team that were directly below in the table. We're now in the relegation zone and Leeds won as well!
It's looking very bad!

It's looking better after that thrashing of Burnley - Luton, Barnsley, Hull, Southend and Leeds (who couldn't beat the budgies) are below you now - have faith you'll beat the drop.

I thought England were dreadful - only bright light was the goalkeeper.
Still at least our Cricket team are back to winning ways.

Woodgate played well I thought, but overall it was pretty lacklustre. England didn't look as though they would score if they stayed out there all night, with or without Spain!
Crouch proved once again that he does not belong at the highest (oops, sorry!) level.

Win or not the forthcoming points dock for playing players they didn't 'own' will do for them.
