....I feel like I'm crashing a wake here but what the heck ....relegation struggles? tell me about them! (our last 2 weren't even "struggles"!) jeez ....that Hammers defeat was tough (despite my earlier gloating) ...there are times when you just KNOW there isn't a god
....There again ...another away day sell out ...another 3 points off a team above us ..a new kit sponsor .....and the knowledge we have the coolest manager in football (step aside Jose') all's well in Sunderland!

Surpised that Anton bothered to make it back from his US booze schmooze for the game. But I suppose that he takes after his drug-cheat brother.
A football writer I know told me yesterday hat various players, rather than Curbishley, will go come summer. That moron Ferdinand will be the first to go - feelers have already been put out, and appropriately enough the Tottscum are interested. Nigel "I'm much too good for this club" Reo Coker, Newton, Harewood and other bling boys will also be on the way out.
Not sure who'd be stupid enough to take them though - apart from Tottenham, obviously.

Was resigned to relegation quite a few weeks ago, so, although yesterday's result was frustrating,it was great to see Tevez score, along with young Noble.
Our first-half performance was one of the bes for months - defence still looks incredibly wobbly though.
Come on you (fizzy pop) Irons!

As disappointed as West Ham were with the result, there was no lack of quality in the goals.
The free kicks by Tevez and Berbatov were top drawer and the finishes by Noble and Tainio were quality as well.
Curbishley putting on four strikers to try and win the game was a brave move. Unfortunately it backfired because of Tottenham's breakaway winner.
It certainly looked an entertaining game on MOTD2 last night.
And who would have bet on Paul Stalteri and John O'Shea at Anfield being scorers of match winning goals in injury time?
Mathematically West Ham can survive, more realistically I can see them in the Championship promotion hunt next season.

the game was indeed a sickener but can take some heart from the performance overall - much more commitment and passion which is all we ask.
cant stand it when they dont try!
mark noble is a star of the future and thats why we should hang onto him. tevez (if he stays) will become a hero at whu. sell all the dead wood who dont want to be there and try to get joey back from blue scum, make him captain play noble alongside him.
we must start the rebuild NOW!

Bad luck, Scotty!
However, in view of the news about your team, you will understand why I remain hopeful that your team, my team and Chillkram's team will be playing in the same League next season...

FA Cup fever is rife in Plymouth.
Match is sold out and on the BBC six o'clock on Sunday.
Mr Holloway had a lovely rant a bout a ref last week comparing him to Mr Magoo...not very original!

Somehow I remain pessimistic about our chances, despite ROTFs kind opinion about the standard of QPR's football. I still remember all the talk about Cloughie's Forset being 'too good to go down' in th eearly nineties. They haven't been back since!
I'm at Loftus Rd tomorrow to watch Rangers against Sheffield Wednesday, amongst the prawn sandwich brigade doing some corporate entertainment in the executive box. I prefer to be with the rabble in the cheap seats, but work is work. Let's hope we get a win this time or we will be in deep trouble.

Well, the same old story for the R's yesterday. We dominated the game and played some really nice football, with good movement and passing. However we lacked confidence and a bit of luck in front of goal and suffered from defensive lapses. Wednesday's goal was predictable and it looked as though they had pulled off a smash and grab until we got the penalty.
With other results it's looking very tight at the bottom of the table now.

That's how you played at Portman Road too - I hope your luck changes. Sorry we couldn't do you a favour against the Shrimpers.

Good results all 'round for the Rs today. Thanks to the Mackems and Jim Magilton's blue and white army for doing us a turn! A good away win against Leicester (James take note, as I will be saying this again in late April!) has meant we are out of the bottom three and with a game in hand.
It all looks a little better this weekend.

surely nobody can say we didnt deserve a huge slice of luck for once !
anyway its not our fault the linesman needs glasses, uriah rennie fucked us over at newcastle not long ago - so the decisions even out a bit over the season. still a shocking decision though!. but well take it.

Not sure if it's true, but somebody told me this morning that the winners of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy will be awarded one of the Champions league places: hope it's true.
Congratulations to Donny BTW, what a great final.

Still got chelski & Manure to play, so I fear that even with 3 wins on the trot, its too late. I thoroughly look forward to being proved wrong.
