well who would have thought it! 2 top class players coming to the east end for a knees up!
the fact that thay have chosen west ham instead of chelski or manc u is very good for football in general especially down the east end.
cant wait! happy days.

They are class players - and will help establish the hammers as genuine challengers to the big boys. It is good news because if teams like west ham and portsmouth can challenge chelsea, arsenal and man u then it makes the premiership far more interesting. I'd love to see a team that's never won it before storm through and win it.
Better still, is that I guess this means you don't need Mark Noble after all

rotf,
i agree, it would be nice to see the likes of chelski etc being taken on and tested week after week by the "smaller" clubs !
the way things are going there may not be a place in the squad for mark noble which i personally think would be a shame. BUT a bonus for the tractor boys.

I was listening to 5 Live's interview with the top guy from the group (MSI?) that 'owns' the 2 Argentinean players. I'm guessing that West Ham haven't paid a penny in fees for the 2 players (£40m worth)as MSI are using them as a down payment towards buying the club outright. At best, they'll be in the Premiership shop window for the likes of Chelsea/ManU/Real, etc to cast their greedy eyes on and later buy at some silly price.
West Ham are being used as nothing more than a feeder club (who'd have thought it eh?) to the likes of Cheslea. Don't get your hopes up about competing with them cos it'll never happen.

Steve Maclaren England Manager
First game 4-0
Second Game 5-0
Anybody notice a pattern emerging?

The rides great, it's the crash just before journey's end that always hurts.

stop trying to cheer me up rackkit!

They are looking better, no doubt about that. McClaren's got this weird idea of playing the players in the same positions that they play for their clubs. Is he mad?
Bring back Sven (seeing as we're still paying him 13k a day for the next year or so) and let's get the keeper playing upfront alongside Posh and Becks. Lets get back to 3 7 1.

There are no easy games in international football.
We should have scored 15.

I wish Andorra were in the Championship as we could do with some points.

That's only to make sure that Chelsea pay a nice fat fee for them next season. No point in letting them see out a one year contract and the players going nothing is there. West Ham get a UEFA cup spot, Chelsea get the players, West Ham get relegated the season after when the remaining stars leave, accusing West Ham of being a selling club.
You're doomed.

rakkit,
yeah yeah, blah blah,
we will stick together as normal and enjoy our football as normal, and IF we pick up some silverware along the way then great.
the fans deserve some success.
but with a new stadium on the horizon and possibly new owners too were hardly doomed my son!

Eriksson 'Fed up' with criticism
And i guess he's 'fed up' with picking up 13k a day from the FA for doing sweet FA too?
