Starts soon - excellent

I have two new gods to bow down before, Artur Boruc and Shunsuke Nakamura. I'm walking around in a daze this morning.

well its finally happened - west ham united have been taken over by the icelandics.
only time will tell i suppose if its a good or bad move ! but must be truthful i cant see any bad points as yet. not sure if pardew is the right man for the job but at least he should now have some transfer money for january.
its certainly an historic day for the club ive supported since a kid - just hope the traditions and family club mentality of west ham remain.
scotty
Well, she looks happy about it.

ROTF, er no!
RACKKIT, that would look very nice on the front of the claret n blue shirt (if it would fit)
could have been worse-we could have been taken over by durex !!
and before you all chip in yes it would suit us wankers!!
regards, scotty

Watched the highlights on MOTD. Can't understand why the Sheff Utd goal was chalked off. Your keeper fell over before even got to the ball and then messed up his punch of the ball. Bloody keepers are over protected these days.
Guess you already know about this: SWP set to be a Hammer?
As for todays 'title decider', i go for Chelsea by one goal. Their midfield will be too strong for old Scholes and the lightweight Carrick.

ill go for the draw and if it was in march/april then it could possibly be thought of as a title decider.
but thats the media for ya!!

United to win, Ronaldo MOTM.

Scotty H was correct. Not a bad game but MU missed a couple of good chances to go 2 up and put the game beyond Chelsea. I thought Chelsea finished looking the stronger team though.
Looks like the title is still to be decided then?

Hope you're right Scotty.
Ps I hope the Hammers can settle down now that the ownership issue is over. Pardew looks more relaxed and chances are the two argies will be out in the January window.
A welcome win for you on Saturday.

hi mark,
yes a wins a win as they say but the side seem very nervous at the back still. going forward we seem to lack punch - cant wait for deano to come back, shouldnt be long now hes back in training. hoefully he will make the difference.

From Paul Wilson's column in the Observer today, regarding new stadia.
Nic
The things you can do at a Premiership ground these days...
Say what you like about the lack of atmosphere at some modern stadiums, there is no doubt that present-day facilities offer football supporters opportunities that previous generations packed upright on the terraces could only dream about.
A couple were ejected from a Premiership ground last month for having sex in the disabled toilet. Stewards were alerted when spectators complained the door had been locked for half an hour - clearly not a case of premature ejection - and there was a suspicious amount of noise coming from inside.
Completely unabashed at being discovered, the couple accepted their punishment without demur, in all probability figuring they had already had more excitement than the actual game was going to offer.
Except the girl did have one last request. 'My boyfriend is still in his seat watching the match,' she explained, showing a steward her ticket number. 'Would you mind telling him you've thrown me out, otherwise he'll be wondering where I've gone.'

I bet he wasn't!

And I can imagine the chant from the terraces (ok, stands) - Ipswich North Stand, anyway:
"Come and have a go if you think you're hard enough".
(Sorry, have I lowered the tone...?)

It says it happened at a premiertship ground - so no chance of being Portman Road until we learn how to keep going for 90 minutes.

so they have sacked pardew, sad really as he really cared about the club. BUT i suppose they had to do something drastic before its too late!
and yes RATCHIT before you say it - it could already be too late.

Been there , said that already: Click

TBH, they're better off doing it now as the transfer window is about to open up and the new manager (Sven) will need it if he's to have any chance of keeping them up.
Don't worry fella, can't really see you getting relegated. That's Charlton, Watford and Sheff U's job.
Enjoy your fight with Blackburn, Boro and Fulham to avoid that last relegation spot though.

sorry to spoil youre fun ratchit but ericsons already ruled him self out of the job!

It's depressing. Curbs is odds favourite at 7/4.
Then this shower of shite:
George Graham 7/1
Sven 6/1
Dowie 14/1
Hoddle 14/1
O'Leary 14/1
