But you passed up the chance of signing Beckham. He's gone to retire in the USA and plans to play the odd game for LA Galaxy - if he's picked of course.
Click
Lauren WAS a good player. 3 years ago.
Wenger doesn't let them go until he's had the best out of them. The only exceptions being Anelka and Reyes and that was only because they never settled. Can't think what either of them have won since either...

What an appropriate end to a career for someone who epitomised style over substance.

Anelka spent a season at Real Madrid; he was in the side that won the Champions League.
I think he scored when they beat Valencia 3-0.

OK, i'll give you that one ROTF but just think of what else he could have won, had he stayed...

Scotty calm down and think of the LP12! I've given up worrying about the R's losing every game they play at the moment now that new manager syndrome has worn off!
Mind you, the Hammers new manager syndrome hasn't worn on yet!

darren bent -greedy b*****d says he wont come to upton park UNLESS he gets £100k a week wages.
firstly we dont need or want wankers like him coming and upsetting the wages structure. secondly hes not worth £10m !!
regards, scotty

Not sure if he's worth £10m or not when Ashley Young is up for £9.5m, but agree £100k a week is ridiculous.
The 3-3 with Fulham looked a great match on MOTD, it didn't seem as if you were in need of another striker.
Don't worry you'll be above Wigan soon - I think they are this year's team in free fall. I also think Charlton and Watford are gone.

West Ham secure Davenport switch - he has agreed a three-and-a-half year deal.
That;s a good signing in my book - not sure why Spurs sold him he looked impressive on the TV.

....Diccus ..Isn't it rather shallow and childish to crow about another teams misfortune?
wait for it .....
However there is a child in all of us yeah?
HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaa!
Truly the best night's tv viewing since Collymore scored THAT goal

Diccus and Jet,
You may have noticed I've been keeping my head down after that debacle. We were truly awful, hard to believe it was the same team that beat Spurs on Sunday and prompted a sizeable Stella based hangover.
I was also at that game when Collymore scored, as I was working and living in Liverpool at the time. The difference was that it was great game with highs and lows, but ultimately it was a great contest, unlike Wednesday.
Ho hum, West Ham tomorrow, could go either way.
Glad it made you guys smile anyway, what goes around etc
Regards

It's all getting a bit desperate for QPR now. Yet another defeat, 0-2 at home to Southampton, puts us only one point clear of the relegation zone now.
Not good.

Scotty,
If it is any consolation he is not exactly well liked by Newcastle fans either! I heard far worse than your mild rebuke today.
