Dylan live

Just a quick note to say how good Dylan and band (no, not The Band) were in Brum on Friday. Most reviews have praised but remarked on the indecipherable lyrics and mangled melody lines - neither of which bothered us. The band was magnificent - well any touring band that has Jim Keltner as its drummer couldn't fail to be, really - and some songs were truly epic - including one, whose title I didn't know, which started after a pause in darkness and included a stunning guitar line and some of the best band playing I've ever seen. Nice to see a legend still at his best.

Chris,
We saw Bob the previous night in Manchester.
The NEC was by far the better of the 2 nights.
It may have been the seating location though.
At Manchester we had good seats on the banking & we were in block A in front of the stand at the NEC.
Totally agree with you....they were brilliant
and at 61....Can't wait for his next tour
