Effing Estate Agents !!!

Posted by: shoot6x7 on 28 April 2010

My real estate agent almost got herself fired this afternoon.

She was helping my wife declutter the house by packing some books away. She had created a pile of boxes and she moved my speaker out of the way. My wife didn't notice and I was upstairs.

Fek, fek, fekking, fek, fek, fek !! It took me months to tune their position and my spikes didn't make a mark on the laminate flooring.

I am so pissed !!!

Well we are moving and she is helping us get the house ready for sale.

I'm moving to Sudbury to start a new job.

I've been laid-off for a year, I'm a process control engineer, who configured and installed industrial systems. The new job focuses on minerals processing and optimizing installed control systems to improve operability and yield.

The only downside is that Sudbury is a four hour drive north of where I live now and is much snowier and colder !!

btw thanks for asking.

No better place for minerals than Sudbury, its a fascinating geological area
Perhaps you can work on a process to reduce all that lake effect snow

I am off to Duluth in a week or so to spend time on the Yellowstone (DM&IR) engines. They were used to pull iron ore to Duluth & ship transport east. Last time I was there it was amazing the temp drop from the plain level road down the hill into the city at lake level. Brrrr, don't like the lakes.

We are getting the house ready to go on the market, so de-cluttering, making it look like a show home.

She moved my ES11 left speaker out of the way so she could put a bunch of boxes near them. I need my system in full fettle to unwind from the stresses of the de-clutter ...

Ahh. I guess the Sudbury in question probably isn't the one just down the road from me.

Thus, shoot6x7's opportunity to join the West Norfolk Phonographic Society (granted to few) has passed him by.

Yes Tony, you guess correctly, Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. The "Big Nickel" as it's known.
