After being amused/sadenned by the Govt/Met's insistence that the Stockwell fuck up was/is being looked at by an independent group, even though it's widely well known that the Guvnor's of it are far from unbiased (as is well recorded), Blair's comments today about not wanting an independent inquiry into Ministers behaviour is truly Outrageous². True; Blair T, is in charge of new Labour, true; Blair I, is in charge of the Met, What Country do they live in though, Fucking North Korea, or What?

Who remembers Thatcher allowing a 13 year old British girl+ in Yorkshire to be married, so as not to upset business relations with Iran?
