Ittok LVIII/v2

Posted by: Jens on 26 September 2001

Hi Folks,

I have one of these arms (Ittok LVIII/v2) on my LP12. From the descriptions of the Ekos I have read it sounds as if it is fairly similar: no arm rest, headshell glued on instead of screwed. I even believe that they use the same cabling. That said, has anybody heard the two arms side by side, and is able to compare their performance?

Cheers,
Jens

I've owned all three of the arms listed above on the same Lp12. I can honestly say that I was happiest with my system when I owned the Ittock. It's wierd really. The other arms are supposed to be much better, but I was never happy with the sound of the "system) after I sold the Ittock LV III.

So. . .if you have an LV III, don't sell it. It's very good and rare, too.

Hi Justin,

That sort of feedback is music to my ears.

Agreed, I've tried Ekos and Aro on home trial and prefered my Ittok. Strange but true! (With a Troika)
