How to buy professional indemnity insurance?

Posted by: superhoops on 19 October 2005

I need PI insurance, I work from home in the UK as a consultant, preparing economic and strategic type studies. Can anyone recommend a good UK based broker for PI/public liability insurance? There are loads on google and I'd rather go on recommendation than pluck one out of the sky. Grateful for any ideas/experiences.

Of the various ones I've used over the years the only one I'd not not recomend is Hiscox.

Willy.

superhoops,

I have used Hiscox for the last 10 years. From starting out with just me, to now with my company of ten people. Seem OK but then I haven't had any claims made!

Regards

Thank you. I have my house insurance with Hiscox and they've not messed that up yet, or caused me to doubt them. I think in the insurance world, our three experiences count as a ringing endorsement!

Are you starting to get nervous about Adam reading your posts - and then quoting you? Smile

Surely you meant "misquoting".

PS Adam, feel free to drop the full stop.
