Should Married Couples Have The Same Rights As Unmarried Couples?

Definately not! They made their bloody beds, so they can lie on them, innit*

I wonder why the German (and most other European Country's & Norway's too) Protestant and Catholic churches are all different from the British Protestant and Catholic Churches in that today is Whit Monday, and there it isn't?

Fritz von Those who know what Whitsun actually signifies would probably be surprised by this as well I expect! even the highly religious President Bush and Tony Blair PM MP, must wonder a little bit* (Maybe not though)

Not forgetting the Old Orthodox lot of course, who started the whole Christian ball rollin in the first place, innit*

Drinkin with my old Christian Jewish pal again the other night, he weren't sayin nowt though*

Far too pissed poor chap!

Let's just hope that the er, highly trained specialist, er, firearms Officer is being properly trauma-councilled and helped after his terrible ordeal of discharging his weapon at close range against a member of the public in his own home (never mind he'll survive to tell how it really was eh!). The point of these Oh so common bollock-ups, is not only do they cost a fortune in taxpayers money, and totally break down any fragile sense of trust with the er, taxpayers in those communities that may have existed. (Forest Gate is mainly of 3rd 4th generation middle class hard working Afro-Carribean background that up to now has had a pretty good local relationship with the police, (and within its ranks) barring the usual London crime that is.

The average beat Bobby (if they still exist- real ones that is) will have to return to those streets after their hero 5 minute wonder er, firearms colleagues have buggered orf to get their stories right and all cover their backs for the good of the service you understand. These beat Bobby's in my opinion are the backbone and most important part of any police force (anywhere) and if they are left totally in the dark about certain matters through ego and lack of communication (by yet new branches appearing and wanting to please the Home Secretary) the public suffers every time. I'm all in favour of a new FBI style national service (that's supposedly already started recently) perhaps they should all learn to speak the same language in-between, or shall we blame it on funding Clive?

Fritz von I see Paisley's Missus may well get into the Lords soon (she's bloody well earned it for patience alone) perhaps Mrs Mick should also get a Boronettcy too for services to Mankind and Rhubarb*

P.S. Re the above Our Andy:

Before you go thinking that Fritz is up to his copper bashin antics again without waiting years for evidence (that often gets lost in the post anyway) or for the IPCC to become independent (of What I ask?).

I will point out that the main gist of my above post doesn't come from Private Eye, Sky News, or HM Gutter Rags, it comes from a very serious-minded interview on BBC WS with an ex DI (who's sentiments they are). It's not rocket science to understand that serving Officers, as well as Service personel for that matter cannot openly express their opinions re: 'operational tactics etc', obviously the OSA ensures (that nobody reads afore signing) comes in to play with the latter as civilians too.

Lord Stevens made quite heavy statements not long after his retirement that he would never of earlier said, and soon too be Lord Blair may well do the same, (hopefully) innit*

Fritz von Everybody here are er, firearms Officers as is well known, and when similar probs occur (which they do sometimes) Officers may 'independently and anonimously speak via their Police Union (which guarantees privacy) obviously bringing about the trust needed for it to exist in the first place for internal strife without mobbing and resignations happening on a large scale afterwards.

Common Bloody sense basically, and the ranks still stay intact!

What with the highly successful move by the US (warning all Arab Banks not to pay) the €U, Israel, etc, etc, banning all monies flowing into Palestine to fund the new 'Majority Democratically Elected' Government that they don't like, I was rather taken aback by what I heard of the Wild Service too last night.

Hamas has managed to muster some money through taxation etc and has paid the lowest paid Civil Servants one months pay (1500 sheckles or less), not having been paid since March. Best bit was, when they get to the ATM's most if not all had been gobbled up by the er, bank for their mortgages. loans, and interest payments, etc. The Bank of Palestine obviously doesn't run on normal Muslim lines then (that forbids interest), perhaps a jolly old IFA a similar on here could put us right? (Greedy Gits).

Fritz von Who'll be shocked first when the 'unpaid' security services run amok then, and I remind folk on here that three recent plane loads of brand new light arms etc, for the Presidents Police etc, didn't all arrive (one went missing), and who kindly supplied & delivered these new weapons? (probably German made) Yes you've got it, Dear old Israel*

Didn't read that in the Old Currant Bun now did you Fritz*

International Herod Tribune actually wunnit John!

Amusing to hear that Americans recently voted in a junk TV talent show thingy and notched up more or less the same if not more than George got in the last bloody election*

Only in the US eh?, you've gotta hand it to em innit, or they'll just take it from you anyway*

That part of the plan is going well. Next is to remortgage up to 110% of the house's value, then take up an extremely dangerous sport and/or addictive drugs. Skydiving on crack sounds good.

The Freemasons asked me to join them, but I was having none of it. As an RC I'm forbidden on pain of eternal torment from joining any other organisation than the Society of St Vincent de Paul.

It was indeed Peter 'the rock', hence St Peter's church in Rome.

St Vincent de Paul was a 17th priest who 'pledged his life to the sick and insane, orphans and old people, beggars and the starving, prisoners and galley slaves.'

Not Our Lindsey's Great Great Great Great Great Great Grandad then?

P.S. I believe Westmister Abbey was once known as St Peters too (could be wrong on that one though?)

SVP: born 1581 died 1660, so mostly alive in the 17th century; canonised 1737.

Westminster Abbey was indeed originally dedicated to St Peter.
