It will be exciting to see how this man performs amongst the top four this season.

Shame theres no Donington this year as the Silverstone track is more suited to cars.
Posted on: 03 April 2010 by Stephen Tate
Yes i agree, Donnington park has always been a favourite circuit amongst all the top riders... and for many spectators too...

And I am curious the Italian firm can still make it up against the Japanese machines.

I tip Stoner to win it this season.

I think that all of the new faces coming up from 250/World Supers will make it an interesting season, although with Pedrosa struggling with the new Honda, and Lorenzo having been hit with injury, the title will be between Rossi and Stoner. Hopefully Rossi will get it !

The new Moto 2 bikes will be interesting. Using the same Honda 600 engine should in theory make it close, and rider ability will determine the best guys out there. C'mon Scott Redding !

Shame about Donnington. A day out on the 'Blade to Silverstone (from Newcastle) is a bit too far. The comfort of the sofa will have to do !

It's looking likely Lorenzo will make Qatar, not 100% but seems fit enough to race.
The new Yam YZR-M1 is looking mean.
Medium and extra hard Bridgstones as opposed to the softer adjacent ones of last season...
Let's hope it dosen't rain!

Oh the excitement is building up!

..and they are off, well Stoner is , what a plonker? Looked like he should have been a shoe in.

Good race though...

Thought Spies done superb!

He's the man i'm watching.

Regarding superbikes, never ever in my life time thought i'd see a BM skin a Duke down a straight.. Roll Eyes

Probably trying to give it too much stick before the tyres have warmed up?

Two in a row now...

Best part of the race for me was Lorenzo squeezing out Dovizioso.

Yes. And what made is specially nice was that the commentators had just been saying that the Yammy was lacking rear wheel traction! Didn't look like it to me!

Also the place gave the race a very sterile feel.
No fans just a track with bikes on it.
Its the same for F1 on these new tracks.
Go win for the Man though.
Stu
Good job it's the only race that's run at night and with the colder than usual track temps, not the most exciting either, though a good race...

My favourite bikes have always been the Yams, they seem to have the best all round package and with regular one/two wins it confirm this.

This circuit has the longest straight too so... the Hondas should of squirted it!!
Never been the best bikes through the mid corners though, same old Hondas' in my view.

Pedrosa proves this.

Poor old Stoner.
Nice one Rossi.

regards, steve

I love MOTO GP's but this one just didnt do it for me........the track may have had something to do with it and the fact that it was run at night - Not good ! Confused

I agree Scotty but not bad for a debut of the season... Last season it rained against all odds... It's only the first race, we need abit of burn in as they say... Winker

Once it's all burn't in, things hopefully will get better. Winker

I blame it on Suzy perry! Big Grin

Yeah that new tart is bloody awful

Due to the air travel issues caused across Europe by the volcanic eruption in Iceland, the decision has been taken to postpone the race weekend at Motegi which was scheduled to take place from April 23rd-25th.

Re-scheduled to October 3rd.

French MotoGP at Le Mans this weekend. My money's on Rossi, with Lorenzo very close behind and Stoner in 3rd.

Hopefully if there are any lakes at the circuit, there will be enough life guards on duty too !

I have Pedrosa down as third although he will end up in pole come the first bend...

Should be a good one.

Come on De Puniet!! Big Grin
