and a few more bikes on the grid wouldn't hurt either
Rossi on a Ducati next year would(will?)be interesting...

Rossi is on this week's Motorcycle news front page.
The deal is done - Rossi is to go with Ducati.

I'm not sure Stu. I caught a fleeting glance at the headline on the front page of MCN whilst in the library earlier today.

My predictions for next year are:
Honda will have 3 riders..Stoner, Pedrosa and Dovi.
Yamaha will be Lorenzo and Spies.
Ducati will be Rossi and Hayden...
Rossi doesn't want to be on the same team as Lorenzo. Ducati has been trying to get Rossi for years and the timing is right...

and....

Not much to say here really apart from well done Lorenzo.
It's looking like Stoner is to go with Honda.
Rossi yet to confirm the rumour to go with Ducati, my guess is he will.
Last season at this circuit was probably one of the best bike races i've ever seen, wasn't the same without the Doctor this year.
Been a pretty drab season so far, i hope things get better towards the latter end of this year...
I think Spies has done very well, at least he's been consistant. He needs a better bike though (A factory works bike would nice)

Sounds like Rossi may be back sooner than expected. He's supposed to be testing this week, amazing.
Maybe the announcement of the move to Ducati will follow fairly soon as well?

Rossi made some tests today on Toseland's Yamaha YZF-R1.They don't know if he really could partecipate to the next race

The quicker Rossi get's back the better!

So now it's official.
Stoner off to Honda...
Posted on: 10 July 2010 by Nigel 66
Shouldn't be long before an announcement from Rossi then ?

Looks like Rossi is on for the race this weekend..
I'd be surprised if he made it to the podium but hope at least for a top five.

Can't forget Mick Doohan coming back after almost losing his leg....A brave man!

Not 100% convinced he'll race yet. Has said that after 6 or 7 laps it's too much and that race distance might be too big an ask !
Would rather he missed one more race and came back "all guns blazing" at Laguna or Brno.

The Gyro cam is pretty cool. Reminds me of playing the Motogp video game!
Nice to see Pedrosa happy for once and glad someone finally had something for Lorenzo.
Too bad Stoner passed Rossi in the last turn to keep him off the podium...

Quite eventful... great to see the Doctor back.
Posted on: 18 July 2010 by Nigel 66
Good to see him back, and ready to race. Did give a flavour of what it'll be like when he retires though.

It will be a sad day in Moto GP when The Doctor retires..

Laguna Seca tonight. BBC2 - I think at 10:00.
Hope Rossi can keep up with Lorenzo, Stoner & Pedrosa, but all the corners will be a bit more of a strain this week.
Spies may do well there?
Posted on: 25 July 2010 by Stephen Tate
Thanks Nigel! i'm with you on hat one!
Posted on: 25 July 2010 by Nigel 66
Shame that the usual support races aren't on though. The Moto2 has produced some good racing so far this season.
Haven't been to any races this season, so might have to make the effort to go to Cadwell or Croft for the BSB.

Rossi 16th on the grid - could be interesting...
Round 10
